Most hotels offer a list. We offer a conversation. When you sit down with our concierge team — usually over a coffee in the lobby — we ask about the kind of trip you are actually on. Are you here for the food? The architecture? A half-day drive to the coast? Do you want to avoid crowds, or are you happy in a busy market on a Saturday morning? The answers shape what we suggest. We have relationships with workshop owners, winery managers, and two chefs who occasionally host private dinners for guests staying with us. Nothing we arrange comes with a commission markup — we recommend it because we have been there.
A two-hour walk through the Mercado de Verónicas with one of three local cooks we work with, followed by a cooking session in their home kitchen. Groups of two to six people. Runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings; book 48 hours ahead.
A 90-minute drive from Murcia, Jumilla produces some of the most distinctive Monastrell wines in Spain. We arrange private visits to two family bodegas we know well, including a barrel-room tasting with the winemaker on Saturdays.
A guided two-hour walk through the Cathedral quarter and the Barrio del Carmen with a local photographer. You keep the RAW files. Available at dawn (07:00) for the best light — particularly striking under the golden Mediterranean morning.
The Mar Menor is 45 minutes from Murcia by car. We arrange a driver, a beach club day pass, and, if you want it, a paddleboard rental and a late lunch reservation. Runs May through October.
Most visitors see the Cathedral from outside. We arrange a private guide for the interior and the museum collection — including the sacristy and the bell tower, which are closed to general visitors. Available Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

We don't book commercial coach tours, airport transfer aggregators, or any experience we haven't personally verified in the last twelve months. We also won't promise a fixed itinerary more than 48 hours in advance — Murcia's best experiences often depend on a market being open, a producer being available, or the weather being right. What we can promise is an honest answer: if something won't work for your dates or your group, we'll tell you straight and suggest the closest alternative. Concierge service done properly sometimes means saying no to your first idea.
